 | The Meat Market opened it's doors in September of 1985. We are located in Winthrop, MA and provided quality fine meats to the area. In the summer of 2008 we renovated the butcher shop so that we can bring our customers a wide variety of new items. The store has doubled in size.
The Meat Market has expanded from a small butcher shop to a full aray of meats and poultry. We also carry a full-line of Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses.
We have also extended to a full catering service. "There is no party to big or to small for us." We have catered private functions, corporate events, weddings and more. Please take some time to browse through our website.
"To tired to cook, let us cook for you !" Prepared dinners are also available. We can prepare what you want for lunch or dinner.
Our Butcher Shop offers a variety freezer packages. They are freezer-wrapped and labeled for your convenience. Over the years we have earned an enviable reputation by offering only the finest quality of meats and poultry.

| | Chicken Cacciatore
(Subsitute Chicken with Pork, Veal, Sausage,
Shrimp or your choice)
Main ingredient:
Choice of main ingredient mentioned above.
- Lightly flour and saute in oil until cooked.
Saute 3-5 minutes:
- Peppers (any color)
- Onions
- Sliced Mushrooms
Add 1 can of kitchen ready tomatoes (1 can will feed 4 people)
Cook 25 minutes then add spices (salt & pepper). Add Meat/Poultry/Fish,
cook for an additional 10 more minutes. Serve over pasta or rice.
